PROJECT PURPOSE
The Department of Public Safety, Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) is requesting ARPA funds to purchase one hundred (100) Tapaulk Communications ear piece with Motorola radio connectivity.
EVIDENCE
The earpiece is used by law enforcement agencies throughout the nation to provide highly effective communication during high-risk events.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
The Tapaulk ear piece provides communications during civil unrest, protests, and rallies. It allows team members to communicate with civilians while receiving communication from other team members and can be coupled with an air purifying respirator.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
The statement of work will consist of the purchase of the Tapaulk Communications ear piece with Motorola connectivity. The measurement will be the purchase and acceptance of operational readiness of the communications headset kits.
