PROJECT PURPOSE

The Department of Public Safety, Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) is requesting ARPA funds to purchase thirty-five (35) 3M Peltor SWAT-TAC III Communications Headset kits.

EVIDENCE

The headset kits are used by law enforcement agencies throughout the nation to provide highly effective hearing protection and communication during high-risk events.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

The 3M Peltor headset provides hearing protection and at the same time provides critical communications among team members during missions. The headset can be coupled with an air purifying respirator to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19 or other contagious viruses.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

The statement of work will consist of the purchase of the 3M Peltor SWAT-TACIII Communications Headset kits. The measurement will be the purchase and acceptance of operational readiness of the communications headset kits.
