PROJECT PURPOSE
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is requesting ARPA funds to purchase and erect a 20' x 40' climate controlled metal building to store Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) that is received and used by DPS commissioned and non-commissioned personnel. The current storage facilities are full and there is no adequate space to store additional supplies, especially temperature sensitive equipment.
EVIDENCE
Additional storage space with the ability to control the climate will allow DPS to store temperature sensitive inventory.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
OHP Troopers and non-commissioned personnel of the Department come in contact daily with the public. The use of PPE is essential for to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Proper storage of PPE is required to ensure it provides the maximum protection to employees.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
The statement of work will consist of the installation of the 20' x 40' climate controlled metal building. Project performance will be measured by the acceptance of the installation, configuration, and confirmation of the operation of the climate controlled system.
