PROJECT PURPOSE

The purpose behind end point security is to stop cybersecurity threats that may be executed in your network at the end point level. Typically, this is a device used daily such as a laptop, PC, or Printer. The end point is a commonly used attack vector for cyber criminals. End point security has become a must have for government agencies and private businesses as the threat for end point attacks continues to rise.

EVIDENCE

It is widely known across the cyber security industry that end point security is critical. According to a Gartner in a 2021 study ?it is crucial for security and risk management leaders to correlate data from the endpoint and elsewhere when threat hunting to offer efficient and security remote access.?

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

The diverse population in the City of Norman Oklahoma, from the wealthiest to those living close to poverty, will benefit from this cyber security project. Their data and services offered by the City become more secure form a variety of cyber security attacks as they are protected at the most vulnerable level inside Municipal Government. All citizens suffered reduced services from the pandemic, and because of lock downs in the community many small business owners suffered the worst and were forced to close their doors, leaving many jobless during a very trying time nationally.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Our network team would perform a scan of the network to identify all end point devices. We would use this list to install the endpoint security software and configure it on the network.
