PROJECT PURPOSE

We would like to update our water billing program that is currently not supported by Microsoft Windows as well as update our water meters to be smart meters.

EVIDENCE

Our water program will have to updated before Microsoft does another update or we will lose our billing. Smart meters will allow for a more efficient reading and maintaining of water resources.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

Due to impact of COVID our staff has been reduced causing our residents to have less availability to get the information they need. By installing the updated software and meters we would be able to get them the information they need with a reduced staff. We have approximately 420 customers.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Submit monthly reports showing the effectiveness of the new meters and water billing program. This would include customer cost, employee hours, and efficiency.
