PROJECT PURPOSE
Mid-Del Group Home employs adults with developmental disabilities. We have contracts through Century Martial Arts, Blue Source, City of MWC and more, and would use ARPA funds to enable us to build a loading dock that is safe and efficient for our clients. It would also allow us to expedite our services and acquire more work/contracts.
EVIDENCE
MDGH currently has no safe loading capabilities to help our residents load and unload our delivery trucks. I currently have one quote from a construction company that was perplexed that we already didn't have a loading dock for the magnitude of work we do.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
MDGH residents were definitely impacted during the pandemic as our company contracts were decreased substantially, and therefore they did not receive income or career training for 6 months.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
MDGH will be able to immediately see the impact on the health and safety of our residents, and will definitely see an increase in productivity.
