PROJECT PURPOSE
Project is training facility for those interested in entry level health care careers Certified Nurse Aides. The program is Oklahoma State Health Department Nurse Aide Registry approved and Accredited for Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Schools. Project/business has been in operation since mid year 2019. Goal of project is to expand training to include Licensed Practical Nurse training. Project/business administrator has began application process with Oklahoma Nurse Board.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION
Project is owned and operated by African American female. Marketing targets African Americans living in North Tulsa and students who would not generally be admitted to Career Tech centers for same training. This community has been affected economically and socially by pandemic. Many have not been able to recover loss from family deaths, illness a loss of employment due to shut down.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
Project is measured by successful pass rates of students taking certification exams post training. The OK NAR keeps all test data per training program and can provide statistics yearly.
