PROJECT PURPOSE

To help supplement organization's lost revenue due to the pandemic.

EVIDENCE

Pandemic-related support received in 2020-21 was vital in helping our organization continue to meet financial obligations for business insurance, utilities, rents, building maintenance, scheduled loan payments, payroll and employee benefits during the mandatory shutdown and imposed COVID-occupancy restrictions upon reopening which resulted in reduced attendance and earned revenue. Program attendance/participation and earned revenue from ticket/concession sales, and membership renewals all remain at much lower levels than pre-pandemic. New ARPA financial support through this project would help mitigate the reduced earned revenue experienced by the organization.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

Funding from this program to help support our organization will enable us to keep our programming available for general populations including school and youth groups, senior age constituents, veterans organizations, along with local nonprofit partners, and would allow us to continue to do business with local small businesses and vendors.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Project funding would help to mitigate the pandemic's negative impact on earned revenue from program attendance/participation and ticket and concession sales and membership fees. Project's performance would be measured by how the project funding supplements revenue generation during 2022-23 to help organization achieve pre-pandemic revenue generation of the last pre-pandemic fiscal year of 2019.
