Premium Pay for the Essential workers that worked through Covid

City never closed all employees were current during Covid 19

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

Several businesses were shut down during the pandemic, the employees at City of Elgin put their health at risk by showing up daily and taking care of the Cities Water, Sewer, and any issues that were had during this time. They put their own families at risk coming to work daily and being around people that possibly had covid. The fire chief and police still made all house calls, even to the sick that were diagnosed with Covid, and at the time went without proper ppe.
