PROJECT PURPOSE

Variable Frequency Drive Pumps automatically adjust the water pressure in the towers throughout town so we maintain a constant pressure- current vfd's are aged out and dangerous- one has actually blown up and caught fire in front of an operator and caused damage to his person.

EVIDENCE

Our Variable Drive Frequency Pumps are aged and the technology is outdated. They are also unsafe at this point. One of the four has exploded in the face of one of our operators. It is of paramount importance the remaining 3 are replaced. The one that exploded has been replaced. These pumps are extremely important for proper transmission of water to our residents

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

All citizens have been negatively impacted by covid and will benefit from having sufficient water transmission, especially those who rely on water to run medical devices, the elderly and the poor.
