PROJECT PURPOSE

Repair in place 750 feet of 8" sewer main on Park Street between North Broadway and Marion Avenue. Existing clay sewer main shows evidence of deterioration and damage from age. Evidence found by camera inspection.

EVIDENCE

Video evidence with camera inspection performed by Urban Contractors Aug 4, 2021 showed extensive damage and wear to existing clay sewer lines.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

Several alternatives have been discussed, but ultimately it is believed by the town that a trenchless technology such as the proposed Perma-liner included in this application is the most feasible path forward. This will benefit the community as a whole, but specifically the NW quadrant of town which includes Hinton Public Schools.

Project will be completed by licensed contractor, and inspection following repair.
