PROJECT PURPOSE

Replace the gas chlorination system at the water plant with a safer liquid chlorine system.

EVIDENCE

Liquid chlorine is safer to handle than the gas cylinders.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

The town of Kiowa and the safe operations of the water treatment system will benefit from the project.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

The current chlorine gas system is inherently a danger to the operator and the proposed system is liquid and much safer.
