PROJECT PURPOSE

To build a connector sidewalk in front of Western Oaks School. The sidewalk that runs on 23rd street is complete except for the area in front of the school due to a steep side slope. The disabled children are taken into the street at this point until they can rejoin the sidewalk. This is a very busy street.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

All citizens were impacted by the pandemic. Including school children, the disabled, elderly and poor. People became more focused on outdoor activity during COVID as a safer alternative to indoor activity. The sidewalk that runs on 23rd street is complete except for the area in front of the school due to a steep side slope. The disabled children are taken into the street at this point until they can rejoin the sidewalk. This is a very busy street.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Project performance will be measured by a completed sidwalk and submittal to OKARPA as a completed project
