PROJECT PURPOSE
The purpose of this project is to refurbish our water tower.
EVIDENCE
Upon visual inspection of the water tower you can observe rust spots on the tower in various locations that need repair. Also, it is suspected that lead pain may have been used to paint the water tower in the past. A company has come and taken samples to determine if lead paint is present. If lead pain is present and with the visual needed repairs would validate this project.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
we are a small rural community that has had limited affect by the pandemic, but we have been affected. Limited travels, school shut down, very little interaction with the community are some of the ways we have been affected. This project would benefit our entire community by providing an upgrade to our existing water tower which is a need for our community. Our water has also helped surrounding communities in their time of need. When water lines froze and broke and water towers froze. We supplied water to them.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
This project is going to refurbish a water tower that is in bad need of an update. This performance data will be collected by keeping an antidotal visual record of the water tower over a period of time observing for leaks and other problems.
