PROJECT PURPOSE

Water line replacement in low income area of town. This project will be matched by CDBG 1:1

EVIDENCE

This area has been identified as being underserved by water pressure and line size. This line continues to degrade with age. Several valves need replaced or installed as well. We anticipate this project to be engineered by the middle of March and ready to bid by the end of summer 2022.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

This project impacts a low income area of Bethany-Typically low income populations are more impacted than higher income households as relates to areas of healthcare. The pandemic has been difficult for all concerned.
