PROJECT PURPOSE
Jones has major flooding issues throughout its history. Our engineer has determined that a hydrology study and imnprovements are required.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION
A large portion of our city limits are vulnerable to "Stormwater" flooding. This was exacerbated by the pandemic as many residents have septic systems that became inoperable because of ground saturation causing a health hazard.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
Jones City will hire a licensed engineering firm to design and manage the project. All contracts and expenditures will be presented the the Jones Board of Trustees for review and approvl.
