PROJECT PURPOSE

We build homes at cost for low to moderate income individuals and families that have a need to live in Edmond. Our current neighborhood is a 37 home neighborhood off of Fretz between Danforth and 2nd street in Edmond called Heritage Village.

EVIDENCE

The average cost of a new home in Edmond is $329,000. We provide modest new homes to low to moderate income families for approximately $145,000. They must complete volunteer hours, financial peace class and secure a loan and down payment on their own.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

The pandemic has affected many individuals and families that work for lower wages and struggle to make ends meet. They have had jobs that have either been put on hold during the pandemic or cut hours and wages. They faced extra debt, increasing cost of living and now are trying to repay that debt while also providing for their families. We provide a stable home with minimal upkeep because it is new in a city with great amenities and schools for their families. This program can change generations of families.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Our measurement is based on homes completed and sold to our clients. We also look at longevity of how long the clients stay in their homes.
