Up With Trees

PROJECT PURPOSE

For 45 years, Up With Trees has promoted our mission to empower, educate, and serve communities by using trees for their environmental, economic, and social benefits. Since 1976, we have planted more than 30,000 trees and distributed over 500,000 trees to individuals, home owners associations, and municipalities. These funds would help to ensure that we can continue to serve communities in planting and maintaining trees in public rights of way, green spaces, schools , and parks. 2021 saw a greater than $600,000 decline from our 2020 revenue which was fortunately in place prior to the Covid shutdown.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Up With Trees maps and assess all of our trees to measure long term benefits provided to communities. Additionally, in 2016, we have mapped the tree coverage for all of Tulsa county to provide a baseline for canopy growth or decline. We also track the zip codes of individuals who we distribute trees to measure the impacts in those communities.
