OKLAHOMANS PROJECTED TO BENEFIT
ESTIMATED PROJECT DURATION
The purpose of the project is to replace old water meters in the system with new green (AMR) technology meters. This will improve accuracy in the water consumption and encourage water conservation by the customers.
The proposed project installs AMR water meters which is a proven technology that increases system efficiency, accounts for accurate billing and encourages conservation.
Krebs is a small community with limited financial resources.
The community will work with a consulting engineer and OWRB to complete the proposed project. The performance can be measured in the meter readings over a 12 month period and compare to the historic meter reading to measure the water conservation. The water loss is expected to be improved by 10%.
