PROJECT PURPOSE
We have 3 projects that we are working on in the order of necessity: 1. New Trash Truck, update to sewer plant, and replacement of lead pipes and new fire hydrants. These are all necessary to make life safer for the residents of Carnegie.
EVIDENCE
The town's current trash truck has been broken down numerous times and when that happens we have no backup to pick up trash. The sewer plant has passed inspection but we have been told of the upgrades that need to be made and the lead pipes are a hazard and lines to the fire hydrants are in need of replacement as reported by the fire chief.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
As with all cities, the pandemic brought to the forefront the needs of the community. We have a town of approximately 1600 and the biggest are elderly and native american-which were hit the hardest by the pandemic.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
There are a number of people working on this proposed project, myself, the City Clerk, and the City Public Works Manager . We have done research and will continue to research and use all resources available to use for the proposed projects.
