PROJECT PURPOSE
Replacement of outdated robot used to evaluate and manage hazardous device incidents. HDU robots allow for safe standoff and management of potentially dangerous devices as well as evaluation and contact with persons in crisis without endangering employees or the public.
EVIDENCE
The evidence of the proposed intervention would be the safe inspection and disposal of potentially explosive devices. A new HDU robot would help us keep the community safe on these types of calls for many years to come.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
All community members could benefit from a new HDU robot, because it would help us keep all community members safe.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
Every time there is an HDU activation it is logged. Each time the HDU robot is utilized on a call for service, it would be detailed in the call.
