PROJECT PURPOSE
Filtration Equipment for Congregate care facilities using Phenomenal Aire IAQ technology made by Top Product Innovations
EVIDENCE
Phenomenal Aire IAQ technology, made by Top Product Innovations, has been proven by third-party testing to effectively deactivate SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) surface strain with a 99.9% reduction in 60 minutes. Phenomenal Aire?s bipolar ionization technology known, as a Cold Plasma Generator (CPG), is powered by Needlepoint Clusters. The testing, which was conducted by Innovative Bioanalysis, is the first example of an HVAC system needlepoint bipolar ionization manufacturer formally testing its technology against SARS-CoV-2 and publishing the results.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
Statewide locations - There are 42 congregate care facilities throughout the state that this project will improve. Group Homes, Detention Centers and Emergency Shelters provide over 500 beds each day to shelter, protect and treat to an average of 6,000 youth per year. This funding will greatly reduce the potential of COVID-19 quickly spreading through the HVAC systems thereby protecting youth and workers.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
This equipment has been installed in our OJA run facilities and has been credited with minimizing the number and severity of COVID cases.
