PROJECT PURPOSE
Due to a complete failure of a section of water line, the City of Henryetta plans to replace a water main along the railroad from 4th Street to Gentry Street in order to improve the water distribution system for the entire City and the surrounding business developments.
EVIDENCE
The City of Henryetta's water superintendent along with the City's engineer has determined this particular section of waterline is a complete failure and out of service. In order to adequately supply water to citizens and businesses, this section of waterline must be replaced.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
The City of Henryetta has a large population of Native American citizens, those considered underprivileged as it relates to income considerations, as well as a growing elderly population. These three specific groups are considered vulnerable and were negatively impacted by the pandemic.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
The City of Henryetta will be utilizing the expertise of an outside engineering firm to measure project performance and to collect required data. In addition to the engineering firm, the City of Henryetta will also be using an outside accounting firm to assist with collecting required programmatic data.
