PROJECT PURPOSE
The purpose of the project is to replace a main water supply line to the district. The current line is aged and dilapidated beyond repair. The district is currently operating on a small back up line that has had a major leak in the past year, causing the entire district to be without water for several days. The current main line is owned by the City of Alva and there is a current contract for the district to take ownership and maintenance of the main line. The new line will ensure a dependable water supply to the district.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION
The district provides services to the northeast part of Woods County including the Town of Capron and the northwest parts of Alfalfa Country. Due to supply shortages and the inflated prices associated with the pandemic, the projected cost of the project was beyond our current financial means.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
Performance measures will be accomplished by daily project inspections to insure DEQ, state and local regulations are met and the project is completed in a timely manner. The programmatic data will be collected from the district?s annual financial statements.
