PROJECT PURPOSE

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections manages data that is important to a myriad of interested parties. In addition, facility operations and security are often impacted by information or the lack thereof. The agency has long needed the implementation of a business intelligence model to use in data mining, data sharing, information use, and management of the agency and its facilities.
