PROJECT PURPOSE

Replace and updgrade various lift stations . This request is for the lift station at 31ST AND PENIEL ST. Bethany has suffered with these old lift stations for many years with sewer overflows that get into schools, businesses and homes. Power outages and surges knock the power out and confined spaces of the old lift stations are unsafe for employees to work.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

All citizens were impacted in one way or another by COVID. The replacement and upgrades of these sewer lift stations will impact the majority of the City of Bethany residents particularly in older neighborhoods, schools and businesses. Upgrading will create safer working conditions for employees maintaining the lift stations and will help keep sewage out of buildings

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

This project will be measured upon successful installation and usage of the lift station and submission to OK ARPA as being a completed project
