Install connectivity from existing sewer mains into the Miramar neighborhood.

EVIDENCE

Continuation of the City's sewer infrastructure into disadvantaged areas bring benefits to public health and property values.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

This predominantly African-American was not developed with sewer. The cost of connecting today is beyond the means of its residents. OKC's minority neighborhoods were struggling with home maintenance costs pre-covid and the negative economic impacts on these citizens has intensified.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Installation of sewer mains will be done to Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust (OCWUT) and Public Works' standards, meeting the expenditure deadline of Dec 31, 2026. This will enable residents to connect to sewer.
