PROJECT PURPOSE

To restore the products necessary to filter the intake water in the four trains at Water Treatment Plant by replacing filter media, plastic beads, polyurethane beads, silica sand, and garnet for the clarifier.

EVIDENCE

The City of Vinita currently is replacing the products in one of the four trains at the Water Treatment Plant for $240,000.00. The product needs to be replaced in the remaining three also.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

The communities that were impacted had residents and businesses leave the area. By providing good, clean quality water and the availability will help bring in economic development for jobs and production and households will fill again

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

The data and performance are collected by how much water is produced at this facility for our customers which include several other water Authorities who distributes to their customers. This includes, Craig, Delaware and Rogers County.
