PROJECT PURPOSE

Drainage Improvements

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

All members of the community and residents in communities that receive stormwater from the drainage basin that serves the City of The Village will benefit from the reduction of non-point source pollution. Improvements will improve water quality in lakes and streams and enhance outdoor activities and the quality of life of tens of thousands of residents outside our community. Areas primarily affected are in the Chisholm Creek/Deep Fork watershed.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

The City is currently performing an Inflow and Infiltration Study to identify problem areas of the sewerage system. Funds will be used to make system improvements to eliminate inflow and infiltration and eliminate sewer overflows.
