PROJECT PURPOSE

? Seiling plans to build a stronger, more innovative, and diverse economy by investing in physical infrastructure through their existing industrial park project. The addition of water and sewer infrastructure to the park will enable Seiling to add businesses to serve their town's needs. The community is invested in this project and plans to contribute its portion of the municipality's ARPA funds. The land is purchased, surveyed and the engineering report is complete. With help from the state ARPA funds, Seiling will enhance the capabilities of services for all their citizens with new and diverse businesses. Because of the location of the park, surrounding communities and counties will also benefit from the additional businesses.

EVIDENCE

? ?Industrial parks create more job opportunities and increase labor mobility. Since many of the units are labor-intensive, there are opportunities for both skilled and unskilled workers.? o https://grupokarims.com/gk-blog/general/the-5-benefits-of-establishing-your-company-inside-an-industrial-park/ ? PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Once the project is complete, project performance will be assessed by increased businesses, growth in the number of available jobs, increased sales tax, and local economic growth. ? The City is familiar with the Compliance and Reporting Guidance for State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds and understands our reporting responsibilities. All documents related to this project will be stored for reports. The reporting elements from the ARPA Reporting Fact Sheet will be used to report work completed on this project. All documentation will be kept, organized, and updated by the Seiling Town Manager and OEDA/NODA. OEDA/NODA and the Town Manager will complete the reports together, ensuring all required documentation is reported.
