PROJECT PURPOSE

Our program trains Nursing Assistants and students moving into Nursing programs so that we can help increase the number of quality healthcare providers available for facilities in our communities. In addition to our Tulsa county location, we plan to expand to rural locations to improve access to training and bolster caregivers in those communities for QCT regions and people. We seek to train an additional 900-1200 CNA's over the next 2 years. Many of our students move on to more advanced nursing or other healthcare related work. Our program also helps people pursue good healthcare career paths that will have positive socioeconomic impacts personally.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

With this project we are looking to expand training opportunities into rural QCT areas with Classes starting in areas such as Okmulgee and Tahlequah, perhaps other areas. Such locations would provide training for those locations and surrounding areas.
