PROJECT PURPOSE
Removal of septic waste systems on the Tonkawa Campus to connect buildings to the City of Tonkawa waste water system.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION
The community of Tonkawa, Oklahoma which has approximately 3,500 residents in addition to approximately 1,000 students of Northern Oklahoma College that either live in residence halls or commute to campus would be impacted. The pandemic forced many College and community events and services to be cancelled, postponed or moved to a virtual setting. Student enrollment experienced a significant decrease in the academic year of 2020-2021 due to the impact of COVID. Community participation in college events was eliminated due to spacing requirements and limitations on facility usage due to the pandemic.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
Completion and evaluation of the connection to the city sewer system. Decrease in maintenance required and overall environmental impact to community.
