PROJECT PURPOSE

Renovation of historic bathhouse at Roman Nose State Park to serve pool users, support special events and meet regulatory requirements.

EVIDENCE

The bathhouse was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s and has seriously deteriorated. This project would restore the facility into a revenue-generating building for the park system and surrounding community.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

This project is located in Blaine County and would support use of the Roman Nose pool, which is heavily used by the local community, including Watonga.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

OTRD has a capital projects team that manages the agency's construction projects. We will utilize an existing design-build contract to implement ARPA-funded capital projects. Project design has already been completed.
