PROJECT PURPOSE

The purpose of the project is to raise funds to build a youth center to help with gang violence, crime, and teen pregnancy, GED programs. In North Tulsa 65 % of crimes committed in North Tulsa is between the age of 15 and 17 years old. Our program is designed to curtail this problem.

EVIDENCE

Christian Minister Alliance has been a district partner with Tulsa Public Schools, Union Public Schools, Bixby, and Sand Springs Public Schools. We have adopted low-income communities and suppled food in our food giveaways. We work with colleges across the State of Oklahoma in scholarship programs, and we also work with juvenile detention centers. We work with the Fire Chiefs of Tulsa and Sand Springs to talk about fire prevention, and job opportunities.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

Because of the pandemic Christian Ministers Alliance has doubled our efforts in supporting communities, job and food supply are at a minimum. Because of this the Christian Ministers Alliance has supported the community by giving away food to underserved areas on a monthly basis.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

We will measure this project by working closely with Educators, Elected officials, law enforcement, local universities, and community leaders to measure project performance and we will look to these same entities in collecting program data needed to successfully complete this endeavor.
