PROJECT PURPOSE
Centranet is a subsidiary of Central Rural Electric Cooperative and is a new Internet Service Provider with a mission to provide access to gigabit services to north-central Oklahomans. We are aggressively building our network and expect to have in excess of 20,000 subscribers. Tools to improve cybersecurity are a requirement for all ISPs. The final rules by the Treasury on SLFRF dictate that the funds can be used for modernization of cybersecurity for new and existing infrastructure. This project aims at improving the cybersecurity setup at Centranet.
