PROJECT PURPOSE

ARPA-PBR-2104 - Parking / Trails / Roads - The Pawnee Bill Ranch was once the showplace of the world-renowned Wild West Show entertainers Gordon W. ?Pawnee Bill? Lillie and May Lillie. The property remains a working buffalo and cattle ranch. A 1 ¬Ω mile pasture drive is one of the most popular features of this historic property. Driving through the pasture visitors are able to get close to the buffalo and longhorn raised on the ranch. The road has been reduced to such a hazardous state that it will have to be closed soon without extensive repairs and resurfacing throughout the 1 ¬Ω mile loop. In addition to the drive the parking lot for the museum and mansion is failing becoming unsafe and inaccessible.
