PROJECT PURPOSE

We are an existing Fixed Wireless Internet Provider located in Southern Oklahoma. We currently provide service to over 6000 Business and Residential customers in Southern Oklahoma. We have equipment deployed on 33 different Tower locations that cover a total of 7,091.71 square miles. This covers a total population of approximately 129,434 Residents. The current counties we provide service are located in Carter, Garvin, Jefferson, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray, Pontotoc, and Stephens. The fastest Internet Bandwidth package we currently provide is 50 Mbps Download by 20 Mbps Upload. All of our packages include Unlimited Data and No Contracts. Our users are located primarily in hard to reach places and we would consider ourselves a last-mile provider. Many of our Tower sites are connected to a Fiber backbone and then Fixed Wireless equipment is used from the Tower to the Business or Residential location. We would like to deploy more equipment, more Fiber backbone, and more Tower locations to have the availability to provide service in new areas as well as provide faster service for our existing customers.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

As great of a state that Oklahoma is, many Business and Residents of Southern Oklahoma continue to need access to a high quality and reliable Broadband Internet Connection. This connection needs to be provided at a fair price as well. Arbuckle Communications has been providing Internet service since 1998 and Fixed Wireless Broadband since 2005. When the pandemic first hit in 2020 we had a major influx of new customers calling in to get service installed and existing customers calling in to upgrade their Bandwidth packages. We were able to move quickly and upgrade existing Towers in order to accommodate the added load on our Network. I would say that all of our communities were able to benefit from these upgrades, but more upgrades are needed in order to keep pace with the future Broadband needs of our great state.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

This project will be a success when we are able to add new Tower locations to our existing network as well as expand into other underserved areas that are currently located just outside of our current footprint and availability. All of this new equipment and tower locations will also allow more network density which will give us the opportunity to provide faster Bandwidth packages to Businesses and Residents located in Southern Oklahoma.
