PROJECT PURPOSE

Our request is to enable us to construct a clinical simulation lab for our existing Nursing and Health Careers programs. Due to Covid, many medical facilities have been closed to training students for the necessary clinical experience. We have a partnership with NEO A&M College to offer an RN program at our Kansas, Oklahoma site and the existence of this Simulation Lab would greatly enhance the educational opportunities for an underserved community.

EVIDENCE

Simulation labs are a critical component of nursing education, allowing you to: Become confident dealing with high-pressure situations. Learn from your mistakes in a safe, supportive environment. Gain experience with conditions you may not encounter during clinicals
