PROJECT PURPOSE

Gondola Lake is located in Medicine Park, OK. The dam is in need of a major renovation to provide long-term stability of the lake.

EVIDENCE

If repairs are not made to the dam, the lake will eventually be unusable as a source of recreation.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

Medicine Park and the surrounding communities were impacted by the pandemic through decreases access to outdoor opportunities.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Once the dam restoration project is completed visitation numbers will be tracked to monitor use by the public.
