OKLAHOMANS PROJECTED TO BENEFIT
ESTIMATED PROJECT DURATION
This project is to repair and reinforce the Sahoma Lake Dam which is a vital back-up to our water infrastructure and system. The project includes repair to intake structures; concrete Oggee Spillway,; create earthen dam; add spillway channel armor platting and abutment guidewalls.
As a result of the Coronavirus 19 Pandemic, the City of Sapulpa, its businesses, and community have suffered many negative impacts. As evidenced by ODOT traffic counts, tourism and economic activity along Sapulpa?s Route 66 corridor significantly decreased, resulting in the permanent closure of many local businesses. The City of Sapulpa intends to ensure that basic customer services such as water remains readily available for every citizen. The dependence of every citizen and business for water needs to be considered as we move forward.
Water and its protection of availability must be easily accessed for everyone.
Guy Engineering/Keithline Engineering Group has been engaged to present us with a project budget and will continue to oversee the project once it is underway. Staff monitoring and weekly reports will be up to date and kept for audit and/or reporting to the state.
