PROJECT PURPOSE

Tulsa Regional Tourism is applying for ARPA Funding for the following programs: Tulsa Tourism Recovery Marketing Program Goal: Make up economic impact deficits from lacking and slow-to-return leisure travel and hospitality industries from COVID-19 via continual advancements to leisure travel marketing programs. This includes producing high-caliber creative on par with competing destinations, advanced targeted and funnel advertising, and further investment into functionality and usage of the - now capable of hotel/tax revenue contributions - visittulsa.com. Film Tulsa Recovery Program Goal: To drive an economic boost through film production and providing education to Tulsa County?s film industry while growing the workforce. This program addresses the negative economic impact on Tulsa?s film industry caused by the pandemic.? Play Tulsa Music Recovery Program Goal: Driving an economic boost to Tulsa?s local music industry ecosystem. This program addresses the negative economic impact on Tulsa?s music industry caused by the pandemic.?

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

According to Tulsa Regional Tourism?s 2019 annual study executed by Tourism Economics: The $95 million in state and local taxes generated annually by tourism offsets $590 in taxes for every household in Tulsa.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

Through these programs, we will be able to track data performance on: website traffic from paid and tracked campaigns, click through rates, impressions, metrics on all digital marketing and digital visitor guide. Also included in data will be: jobs created, hotel room nights booked, and direct spend.
