PROJECT PURPOSE
This project would address 50-year and 100-year future flows that are overtopping the existing 10-x-6 RCB system at Sinclare Drive and 8-x-5 RCB system at Beaumont Drive.
EVIDENCE
The Stormwater Master Plan completed in 2009 by PBS&J for the City of Norman identified this project within the top ten ranked locations that affect the life and safety of the community and funding is unavailable to address this improvement.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
Public health and economic emergency - Flood damage and road closure will result in major economic impact to City of Norman budget and poses threat to public health due to inability of emergency vehicles to reach citizens.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
Construction of infrastructure with ongoing inspections to ensure no flooding, property loss, and safety issues occur at the location.
