PROJECT PURPOSE
The purpose of this project is to repair Florence Street, Bertha Street, Lee Street and Pyeatt Street in Pauls Valley. These streets are in disrepair and are a major arterial through our City, East and West and South of the creek. The water lines, sewer lines and water main under these streets need to be moved and replaced out of the street travel way.
EVIDENCE
The water and sewer lines are a 90 year old system that have had no engineered upgrades and serves the area poorly. The streets are also in very old and dilapidated and will need to be replaced when the water and sewer lines are upgraded.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
The neighborhoods surrounding the proposed area are predominately elderly and low income.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
The City Manager and staff will work with engineers and contractors to monitor the project and track performance.
