PROJECT PURPOSE

This project is for a secondary drinking water feed to the eastern portion of Miami. It would be for a new water tower and water line to cross under the Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44). Currently there is only one water feed to this area and when there is a leak the citizens in this area are out of water until it is repaired. The water tower would also add additional storage capacity to the whole community.
