PROJECT PURPOSE

Construction of dump stations, "pay-to-power" charging stations, playgrounds and improved parking lots to serve travelers visiting the state's Travel Information centers and other rest areas.

EVIDENCE

Oklahoma's Travel Information Centers and rest areas lack infrastructure that travelers desire when visiting. Requested improvements would support the ability for travelers to move more freely within and across the state.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION

This project would be used by anyone who travels in the state.

PERFORMANCE MEASURING

OTRD has a capital projects team that manages the agency's construction projects. We will utilize an existing design-build contract to implement ARPA-funded capital projects.
