PROJECT PURPOSE
Nobody is more affected by the lack of high speed internet access than the rural population. Rural communities do not have access to reliable and affordable high speed broadband and can not engage in the digital economy. This project will connect approximately 4000 Oklahomans in Southern Rural Noble County and provide access with up to a gigabit speed utilizing Fiber to the Home.

POPULATION DESCRIPTION
The rural population of Southern Noble County that lives outside of cities has no good options to connect to the internet. Their options are either slow, unreliable and expensive satellite connections or in rare cases, slow, unreliable and expensive fixed wireless solutions. Covid has affected this population disproportionately making work and learning impossible as they do not have access to remote work and distance learning. This project will provide access to gigabit internet to most of the rural population of Southern Noble County.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
The project performance will be measured by milestones during a 24 month time-frame. These milestones are discussed in detail in the Project Narrative Document that is attached. The project will be completed within 12-24 months.
