PROJECT PURPOSE
The City needs a new sewer lift station and pressure main south of Rush Creek, as well as upgrades to sewer lines in the area to accommodate it's existing and growing needs.
EVIDENCE
The City has already obtained an engineering report outlining the plan and needs of this area. The report shows that a new sewer lift, pressure main and new sewer lines are needed to accommodate the amount of flow in that area.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
The hospital, nursing home and neighborhoods South of Rush Creek are all greatly affected by this sewer problem.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
The City will hire an engineer to administer and complete the project. The City Manager, City Clerk and City Inspector will work closely with the engineer and DEQ to meet and track all requirements.
