PROJECT PURPOSE
The purpose of constructing a medical residency clinic is to recruit and retain future physicians for Southwest Oklahoma. In addition, this would allow for a primary care rural training track program.
EVIDENCE
HRSA and other agencies have data showing shortages of primary care physicians.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
Low income and senior adults would receive the most benefit from an increase in primary care access.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
The success of the program will be measured by the number of medical residents we retain in Southwest Oklahoma.
