PROJECT PURPOSE
As a dual mission program, Jesus House feeds over 100,000 homeless people annually, and also serves as a 10-12 month addiction and recovery residential program. We are currently in a 1938 elementary school, that is desperate need of new facilities. We have created plans to build new dormitories and an administration building in order to provide the necessary recovery services and administration functionality. In addition, new facilities will enable us to bring in more women, due to the rising number of women suffering from addiction in Oklahoma.
EVIDENCE
Data from 2018-2020 shows an alarming increase of men and women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. Over 22 million Americans suffer from substance abuse.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
Our program statistics show a broad range of impacted people in Oklahoma dealing with substance abuse, homelessness and mental illness.
