PROJECT PURPOSE
This project would address 4200 LF of severe bank erosion along both banks of Imhoff Creek, erosion that resulted in the failure of the bridge at Imhoff Creek. This erosion has caused property loss, fence loss and trees to fall into the creek.
EVIDENCE
The Stormwater Master Plan completed in 2009 by PBS&J for the City of Norman identified this project within the top ten ranked locations that affect the life and safety of the community and funding is unavailable to address this improvement.
POPULATION DESCRIPTION
Homeowners along Imhoff have experienced loss of property, safety hazards, falling trees.
PERFORMANCE MEASURING
Construction of infrastructure to ensure bank stabilization with ongoing inspections to ensure no additional erosion and property loss occur at the location.
